Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support students in their academic, social, and emotional development. You will help to create a safe and engaging environment, providing one-to-one or small group support to children who may need additional help to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
Assist with the implementation of learning activities and ensure that children are actively engaged.
Provide individual or small group support to children as required.
Assist in monitoring and recording student progress.
Help with classroom management to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Support the welfare and emotional needs of students, promoting a positive attitude towards learning.
Collaborate with the teaching team and other school staff to enhance the overall school experience for all students.

Skills and Experience:

Experience of working with children in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
A good understanding of safeguarding procedures.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is an advantage but not essential.
