We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful teaching community.
The successful candidate will work with small groups of students and provide support to the classroom teacher.
This role requires a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification or similar, as well as experience working in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS1 students.
- Work with small groups of students to provide targeted support and intervention.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning, including literacy and numeracy skills.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the classroom teacher.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Contribute to the planning and evaluation of learning activities.
- Supervise students during break and lunchtime as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting, preferably within KS1.
- Understanding of the KS1 curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Experience working with small groups of students.
