Key Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide in-class support in both Reception and Year 1
  • Assist with phonics, early literacy, and numeracy activities
  • Help manage classroom routines and transitions

  • Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
  • Confidence supporting Early Years and KS1 students
  • A calm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of individual learners
  • A positive attitude and willingness to be a hands-on member of the team
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
