SEND Teaching Assistants Needed - Hackney
A number of special needs schools in Hackney are currently seeking SEND Teaching Assistants for a variety of positions. These range from flexible daily supply to short-term and long-term roles, offering a chance to work with students who have diverse needs, including ASD, MLD, ADHD, PMLD, and SEMH.
What we offer:
- Flexible opportunities: daily supply, short-term, and long-term roles
- Competitive daily pay ranging from 86 to 100 depending on experience
- Full-time or part-time positions, depending on your availability
- Opportunities within primary and secondary SEND schools across Hackney
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check (registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one)
- Proven experience working with children, ideally in a SEND setting
- Understanding of SEND and relevant experience supporting students with additional needs
- Strong classroom management, knowledge of the curriculum, and excellent communication skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic learning environment
