Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils within a Primary school, with the opportunity to work across different year groups?

Horizon Teachers are working with an exceptional Primary school based in Waltham Forest, assisting in their search for a Teaching Assistant to join their team from January on a full-time basis. You will join an experienced and supportive team, supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as supporting small groups.

The school is a 5-minute walk from a tube station.

  • Experience in an EYFS or Primary setting.
  • Either experience supporting pupils with SEND, or an interest in getting into this line of work.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confidence and ability to use your initiative.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
