About the Role - Teaching Assistant - Lewisham
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students across the curriculum, focusing on those with SEN needs. You will assist the class teacher in planning and preparing lessons, supporting students with SEN in a variety of ways, and helping students stay engaged and motivated.
- Preparing the classroom in advance for lessons.
- Assisting with lesson planning and preparation.
- Supporting students with SEN across the curriculum.
- Tracking and reporting students' progress to the teacher.
- Providing additional support to students who require it, including during interventions.
- Keeping students motivated and encouraging their success.
- Supervising students during school trips and activities.
