About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in South Norwood, starting as soon as possible. This is a part-time position, working on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, with a salary of 100 per day. The successful candidate will be supporting students across various subjects, helping to enhance their learning experience, and ensuring they receive the individual support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to assist with their learning.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support for students with a range of abilities and needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive and focused learning environment.
  • Support students with additional learning needs or barriers to learning.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • A passion for supporting students' learning and development.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting learning.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
