Responsibilities as an Early Years Teaching Assistant:
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Support children with SEN needs, including Autism and communication difficulties.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support, implementing behaviour strategies.
- Help maintain a structured and engaging classroom environment.
- Assist with personal care, ensuring children's well-being and dignity.
- Use initiative and creativity to support learning through play-based activities.
Teaching assistant - What We're Looking For:
- Experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant, particularly supporting behavioural and SEN needs.
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour in a patient and constructive way.
- A proactive and nurturing individual with a passion for early childhood education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one via Reeson Education.
