About the Role:
I am seeking a dedicated Year 2 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with strong behaviour management skills to join our supportive and dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide tailored support to pupils, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting children with their learning, including those with additional needs
Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
Working one-to-one and in small groups to provide targeted interventions
Encouraging and fostering independence and confidence in students
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and specialists to support pupil progress
What the school are Looking For:
Experience working with children in a primary school setting
Strong behaviour management skills with a positive and proactive approach
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Patience, resilience, and a passion for helping children succeed
A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) is desirable but not essential
