A mainstream Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate KS2 Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support for children with SEMH needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a nurturing and inclusive school, where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

The Role:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for KS2 pupils with SEMH needs.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in the implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans.
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure pupils' progress.
Use de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement to support emotional regulation.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children with SEMH needs (school-based experience preferred).
A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
An understanding of behaviour management strategies.
