Horizon Teachers are currently working with a Primary School in Newham who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work closely with a child within their ARP that has mild learning difficulties and challenging behaviour, This is a small class consisting of 8 children within KS2.

The student requires close 1:1 support to help manage their behaviour within class and to keep them engaged within lessons. The school has great transport links and the staff are dedicated to creating a great learning environment for the children.

The role is starting ASAP and will be on a full-time basis until July 2025. This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to 550 per week.

What the school are looking for in their Teaching Assistants:
  • Previous experience supporting children within a Nursery or School setting.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is very desirable.
  • Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
  • Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
