About the Role:


As an Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils who need additional help with their learning. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions in subjects such as literacy and numeracy, helping children reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:


* Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to support children with their learning
* Assisting teachers in planning and adapting lesson activities to meet individual needs
* Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents
* Encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence in their learning
* Supporting children with SEND, speech and language needs, and other learning difficulties
* Participating in training and professional development opportunities to become a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Requirements:


* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational support role (desirable but not essential)
* A passion for education and a commitment to helping children succeed
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting pupils
* A valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
