Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive team at a special needs school in London.
About the Role:
- Support children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
- Assist in delivering tailored educational and developmental activities.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure each student's individual needs are met.
- Encourage independence and promote a positive learning environment.
- Provide emotional and behavioural support to students as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
- A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to undergo relevant training.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
