Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive team at a special needs school in London.

About the Role:

  • Support children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
  • Assist in delivering tailored educational and developmental activities.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure each student's individual needs are met.
  • Encourage independence and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Provide emotional and behavioural support to students as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential).
  • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to undergo relevant training.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
