Learning Support Assistant (SW16)

We have an amazing opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive school in Streatham (SW16) on a long-term contract.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support students with diverse learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their personal goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons, ensuring they are accessible to every student.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
  • Help with classroom management, supporting students to stay engaged and focused.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar role, particularly working with children with SEN (KS1/2) 
  • A genuine passion for inclusion and helping students succeed, no matter their challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, able to connect with students, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive, flexible attitude, ready to adapt to the changing needs of the students.
  • A DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
