Exciting Opportunity: Primary SEN Teaching Assistants
Location: Kingston Upon Thames

Our partner school is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join a team of dynamic Primary Teachers. The successful candidate will provide support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have the best possible learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support and assistance to the assigned student, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create and implement individualised learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on the student's progress, identifying areas for improvement and adjustment.
  • Assist with the development of social skills and encourage participation in group activities.
  • Manage challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies and interventions.
  • Support the student with personal care tasks if required.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of various SEN conditions and appropriate support strategies.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable.


Working Hours:

- Full-time, permanent position.

Pay:

- £85-£95 per day
