The Role

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager who is ready for a greater challenge. You will be responsible for Managing your nursery setting including:

· Delivering an Early Years curriculum which incorporates Montessori, HighScope and EYFS;

· Creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents and children;

· Recruiting, developing and managing a team of up to 12 staff;

· Selling the nursery to new parents including conducting viewings;

· Responding to all enquiries, both internal and external, in a timely manner;

· Ongoing nursery communications with parents including weekly newsletters;

· Operational planning;

· Budgetary management and reporting;

· Building excellent relationships with children, parents and colleagues;

· Promoting child welfare and ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed;

· Contributing to the reputation of our clients Nursery Group.

What you will bring

· Experience as Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager;

· NVQ/Cache Level 3 Diploma in Early Years, NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree or QTS;

· Strong knowledge of EYFS and children’s learning and development;

· Leadership acumen;

· Excellent staff management skills;

· Experience in dealing with external organisations;

· Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication;

· Self-motivation, innovation and a positive outlook;

· Strong planning, budgeting and organisational skills;

· Lots of energy; and above all,

· A passion for delivering amazing educational experiences to children.
