Hotel Receptionist

Must have Opera system experience

£24,000 + Bonus

I am looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Hotel Receptionist with opera knowledge

5 days out of 7

  • Ensure the effective running of day to day operations in Reception and ensuring standards are maintained at all times
  • To ensure all guests are welcomed using guest’s name on arrival and assist with registration
  • To deal with queries and complaints as and when they arise with reference to appropriate members of staff/management as required
  • To ensure switchboard is covered at all times and all calls are answered efficiently
  • To ensure floats are handed over correctly and are kept secure at all times
  • To ensure all members of reception are aware of events within the hotel, as well as all the facilities
  • To control on the day availability in order to maximise occupancy & revenue
  • To maintain standards of appearance & conduct on reception
  • Ensure all information available at reception is current and relevant
  • To maintain a close working relationship with other departments in the hotel to ensure smooth running of the department
  • Be responsible for reporting any problems with systems within the department
  • To encourage up-selling & in-house selling to all staff
  • Adhere to company policy with regards to all matters of fire, health & safety
