About Our Client
My client is a renowned city firm based in Holborn with multiple recognised Legal 500 departments. The firm's residential team works strictly on high-value property matters for HNW and UHNW clients, including prime London real estate and rural country estates. The team consists of 6 Solicitors and a support team, and is lead by an experienced Partner, who is ranked in the Chambers UK and recognised on the Legal 500.
Role Overview
The position is to join the team to run residential property files on a wide range of matters, including sales and purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity, lease extensions, etc. The position may also include mentoring and assisting more junior members of the team due to the position's PQE requirements. The role also is positioned between the requirements for an Associate and a Senior Associate. Therefore, candidates at the high end of the PQE requirements may be considered for Senior Associate position in the team. All members of the team are also encouraged to do business development activities and attempt to grow the brand, so experience with BD and potentially a small following would be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters
Prepare and draft legal documents
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely updates and strategic advice.
Collaborate with colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services.
Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking and marketing efforts to enhance the firm's profile in the property sector.
Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications + Experience:
Qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in residential property.
Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property matters.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload of high-end work effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrated client-focused approach with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
