Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Head Concierge who will be responsible for taking complete control of the Concierge Department; including day to day running, organisation and planning of Concierge, Porterage and Doorman services over a 24 hour period.
The HeadConciergeKey Responsibilities will include:
- Guest liaison and client loyalty development; to be willing to contact guests at any point to solve any queries that may arise and to build contact with regular guests.
- To ensure the hotel provides a courteous and professional service at all times with regard to arranging tours, reservations, tickets and any other reasonable requests as required by guests in accordance to the Concierge S.O.P
- To ensure all incoming and outgoing luggage handling is efficient, with accurate administration and record taking at all times in accordance to the Concierge S.O.P.
- To ensure the Concierge Desk is effectively manned at all times and that telephones are answered promptly and courteously at all times.
- To ensure taxis are available promptly at the hotel, with all bookings handled through the correct channels.
The Experience & Qualifications for HeadConcierge:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
- Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.
The successful candidate will be:
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
- Team worker
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
