If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Housekeeping and Catering Services Manager.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Oversee Housekeeping Services to maintain hospital cleanliness, ensuring regular audits and adherence to national guidelines and infection control protocols.
  • Supervise Food Service Stewards in meal preparation and delivery, catering to patients’ health needs, allergen, and dietary requirements.
  • Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance appraisals, managing staffing and scheduling efficiently.
  • Set and monitor revenue and patient satisfaction targets, manage budgets, and control expenditure.
  • Implement and review standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and experience, manage supplier contracts, and ensure competitive pricing.
  • Conduct environmental audits and report findings to relevant committees.
  • Oversee waste management, ensuring safe and regular waste collection in compliance with health regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification or experience in Hospitality Management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, including infection control and waste management.
  • Proven experience in managing housekeeping and catering services, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
