Hyperion Partners are pleased to be working exclusively with a leading Build to Rent (BtR) operator, seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-growing company at the forefront of the BtR sector, leading a flagship residential development in London.

The Role

As Deputy General Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the site. You will ensure the delivery of a high-quality living experience for residents, whilst driving operational efficiency and optimising occupancy and revenue. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, service-focused environment and contribute to the success of a prestigious development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of the full lifecycle of the development, from leasing and operations to tenant relations and property maintenance
  • Lead and develop the on-site team, ensuring exceptional service delivery to residents
  • Support the General Manager in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and legal requirements
  • Oversee building maintenance, facilities management, and ensure high standards of property presentation
  • Foster a strong community atmosphere, with an emphasis on customer service, resident engagement, and retention
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and third-party service providers
  • Implement strategies to maximise occupancy, minimise voids, and drive rental income
  • Provide data and reports to senior management, offering insights on performance and areas for improvement
