An opportunity is available for a highly skilled and motivated Homeless Housing Coordinator (SO2). The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in providing specialist homelessness casework and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by homeless applicants with complex needs. You will work collaboratively to deliver excellent customer service and ensure all casework is carried out in line with relevant policies and legislation.

key Responsibilities:

- Provide specialist homelessness casework to applicants with complex needs.

- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve outcomes for homeless individuals.

- Ensure all casework is compliant with national, regional, and local policies.

- Represent the council in court, defending or challenging homelessness decisions.

- Achieve performance objectives in the delivery of homelessness services.

- Contribute to the dissemination of best practices within the Housing Advisory Service.

- Effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including applicants, council members, and external partners.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience delivering homelessness casework, particularly for individuals with complex needs.

- Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation, policy, and case law.

- Experience in representing cases in court related to housing and homelessness.

- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service in a challenging environment.

- Demonstrated ability to meet performance objectives consistently in homelessness services.
