Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager

Here at BDS Recruitment we are looking to recruit for an ongoing position as a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager based in the Herne Hill area.

This role is 36 hours per week.

This will be delivered Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am till 5pm

This is a permanent role

The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents, who live independently within the Scheme, and you will be responsible for assessing resident’s daily needs, completing support plans and sign posting information, whilst liaising with in-house support workers daily to ensure a continued smooth service. There will also be regular welfare checks, healthy and safety checks on the building and reporting and overseeing any maintenance required.

This role is based at two different schemes in the Hackney area, your time will be split equally between the two schemes.

Role Summary:

  • 35 hours per week (To be delivered between Monday to Friday)
  • This is a perm position
  • Working with older adults (Aged 55 +)
  • Based in Herne Hill
  • Previous Sheltered Housing Experience is mandatory.

  • Welfare checks on residents.
  • Health and safety checks
  • Signposting
  • Organising activities
  • Reporting any maintenance requirements.

Previous experience of running or being involved in a retirement scheme is essential.
