ATTENDANCE OFFICER Needed in Lambeth

We are looking for an Attendance Officer therefore looking for a highly productive and coordinated candidate with a skilled methodology to work as part of the clients Attendance Team. Based in a secondary in Lambeth Southwest London, you will guarantee that attendance of all year groups is good and at least in line with the national average. You will need excellent communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team.

Role responsibilities:

Inputting attendance data, producing reports and analysis.

Be responsible for the implementation of the school's systems, procedures and policies in relation to attendance and punctuality.

Manage the interface and referral systems for local Authority Education Welfare.

Be responsible for all enquiries relating to attendance - learners, parents/carer and staff.

To work closely with the designed staff for child protection and support this work including the development of a whole school attendance policy and liaison with governors as appropriate.

For this Attendance Officer role, you will work closely with the Attendance Advisory Officer on specific attendance cases. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and word processing skills are essential. Knowledge of SIMS preferable.
