HR Analyst – Payroll and Benefits

  • Salary: £300 per day (Umbrella) OR £227 per day (PAYE) plus holiday

We are excited to offer an interim position for an HR Analyst at a prestigious investment bank. This role involves three days per week in the office and two days working from home, focusing on payroll and benefits management.

Day-to-day of the role:

Stream 1: Benefits Processing

  • Design and reconcile benefits data with payroll and benefits invoices.
  • Develop and document the process for benefits processing, including checks and reconciliation.
  • Validate processes with the head of benefits and financial control.
  • Train stakeholders on new processes and connect with benefits providers to enhance procedures.

Stream 2: Benefits Dashboard

  • Create a comprehensive global dashboard on benefits.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for validation.
  • Maintain regular reporting on progress to management.

Stream 3: Invoices

  • Document and improve the current invoice management process.
  • Identify enhancements to secure and expedite the process.
  • Provide weekly updates to management.

Stream 4: GDPR

  • Document compliance rules for documents stored in the HR shared folder.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to validate rules and manage the cleaning of the shared folder based on these rules.
  • Report progress to management weekly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with data analysis, dashboard creation, and trend identification.
  • Expertise in Excel and Power BI for developing dashboards.
  • Experience in creating and implementing new reporting processes and training team members.
  • Skills in process diagnosis, mapping, and improvement.
  • Proficiency in using Visio for process mapping.
  • High competency in Excel for data reconciliation and macro development.
  • Ability to design and document detailed procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Desirable: Experience in benefits management and knowledge of salary sacrifice mechanisms.
