Title: Assistant Payroll ManagerLocation: London/Hybrid Salary: £50,000 + BonusJGA are partnered with a leading chartered accounts, who are seeking an Assistant Payroll Manager to join their busy payroll function.Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the payroll team.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of service.
  • Managing a client portfolio and their payrolls. 
  • Act as the first point of contact for the team’s technical queries.
  • Handle internal and client inquiries.
  • Recommend improvements to payroll procedures and team operations.
  • Assist in monitoring, training, and developing team members.
Experience Needed:
  • Experience working in a client or bureau setting.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a small team. 
  • Knowledgeable in payroll legislation, compliance, and auto-enrolment.
  • Strong payroll software knowledge.
  • Ability to manually calculate PAYE and NIC.
