A highly successful and growing Financial Services business have an exciting newly created role for a DE&I Regional Specialist. This is a new investment hire into the DE&I team which will report to the Lead DE&I Strategist.

The business themselves are an international Asset Manager who have DE&I high on the agenda. This role will work hand in hand with the Lead Strategist in order to devise and implement the DE&I strategy across the region. This will be a fast paced and rewarding role and will likely be the long term successor for the Lead.

We are looking for candidates with previous DE&I experience ideally from other Asset Managers or Financial Services businesses however other corporate business backgrounds will be considered. Candidates will need to be passionate about DE&I, happy to work top to bottom (strategy/hands on), engaging in being able to communicate at all levels, experienced to bring ideas and success to the role and dynamic to make a success of this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with regional leadership teams to develop and implement strategic objectives and annual programs and initiatives for specific offering.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for enterprise-wide programs and initiatives to regional leaders. Develops solutions and is accountable for measures of success in the region.
  • Advises and guides multiple stakeholders including internal Human Resources partners and regional leadership on the integration of strategies and programs into people plan and departmental / function annual plan.
  • Defines and monitors key focus areas and measures of success. Provides perspective and solutions on all talent initiatives enabling efficiency for DEI integration and deployment.
  • Oversees the evaluation of impact and effectiveness of existing resources, tools, and programs. Manages the implementation of changes and deployment.
  • Partners with Enterprise on offers and content solutions for local delivery and adapts as necessary for local deployment.
  • Evaluates the impact and effectiveness of existing resources, tools, and programs.
  • Gathers feedback on events, policies, programs, and procedures. Makes recommendations to improve growth and efficiency.
  • Guides and consults with team members on all matters associated with the programs and functions of specified area.
  • Contributes to the development and management of the regional budget.
  • Overseas the effectiveness of the regional DEI Council partners with the Executive sponsor.
  • Partners with stakeholder for the effective delivery of regulatory and legislative activities eg not limited to (Pay Gap reporting, FCA reporting).
  • Partners with stakeholders for the effective delivery and engagement across multi-site in the region.
  • Participates in special projects either regional specific or Enterprise wide and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Develops a network and represents programs and initiatives externally. Stays abreast of industry, market, and competitive trends and incorporates best practices in alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Lead the external partnership strategy to maximise impact and return of investment aligned to regional and Enterprise-wide strategy.

Requirements:

  • Previous DE&I experience ideally within an Asset Management or Financial Services business
  • Active stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrate strong written and presentation communication skills
  • Facilitation of offsites and training
  • Data analysis and the ability to tell stories with data
  • Decision-making in ambiguous circumstances
  • Action orientation and ability to work to deadlines
