EMEA HR Manager

6-month Fixed Term Contract with a view to going permanent

Home based role with travel in Europe

Basic salary £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience plus benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic EMEA HR Manager who is highly organised and a self-starter looking for a challenging role to work in a fast-paced business.

Primarily this role is home based, you will however need to attend face to face meetings which covers France, Netherlands, Hungary, Spain, Czech Republic, and Poland which are both very small.

As a EMEA HR Manager you will play a pivotal role in delivering the operational and HR agenda across multiple European countries, (predominately covering the Netherlands and France),

you will therefore be up to date on European legislation in either or both of these countries.

As a EMEA HR Manager, you will report to the VP of HR and will partner their leadership and management teams to provide strategic and specialist advice on people and ER issues while driving organisational goals and initiatives and demonstrate experience of working in a multi-jurisdictional business.

Candidate Skills

  • Fluent written and spoken in Dutch OR French, would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Demonstrate 3/5 years’ experience working as a HR Manager role and hold CIPD level 5 or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Excellent analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, multi-tasking, prioritising, team conflict management and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving, attention to details and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally and internationally
  • Demonstrated success partnering and collaborating internally and externally with all functions of an organisation
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, think tactically as well as strategically, demonstrate objectivity and be results oriented
  • High integrity; able to manage sensitive issues with the necessary judgement
  • Ability to work effectively and influence others in a diverse and dynamic work environment

Duties

  • Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organisational goals and initiatives with a focus on continued improvement
  • Manage performance management, compensation, and talent management initiatives regionally and be involved in recruitment for each of your countries
  • Provide on-site leadership to management teams and employees
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Investigate and document matters related to ER concerns raised
  • Consult with managers regarding their challenges with specific employees and assist with strategizing and problem-solving to take appropriate actions
  • Be the HR first point of contact for employees with concerns, questions, or complaints regarding company policies and/or other ad hoc issues
  • Ability to develop and present training programs as needed to ensure team members understand and comply with local and country regulations, as well as leadership and management skills
  • Analyse jobs descriptions and provide benchmarking and also lead and work on special projects as assigned, collaborating with leaders and team members as appropriate
  • Abilit to work partnership with the wider HR Team participating in setting policies and procedures
