The role…
The organisation is looking to appoint an Employee Relations Lead to join the team and support members of the organisation to navigate the disciplinary, grievance and performance issues including industrial disputes. The organisation is impartial therefor you will support the business through employee and industrial relations issues. Working closely with unions and external stakeholders with multiple businesses. Some of the key responsibilities are laid out below:
·You will clearly provide the paperwork and case information preparation for the Working Parties and support projects.
·You will be the lead on the dispute resolution processes which will include mediation and consultation and drafting decisions.
·Support the regional boards and employee relations committees with administrative reports, agenda's and guidance
·Stay up to date and ensure that new legislation is presented to the wider organisation and implemented.
·Provide advice to the members on the correct management of any industrial relations matters.
To be successful in this role you must have experience working across industrial or employee relations and ideally working with unions on a regular basis to resolve disciplinaries, grievances and performance related queries. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in working on multiple cases and happy to advise on HR best practise and support.
Ideally you would have worked across sectors that have supported front line employees on employee and industrial relation issues. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with integrity and empathy is critical. You will also be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
It is preferable that you have experience working with unions as part of your role either in employee or industrial relations.
Location: London and Swanley (30 mins from Victoria station, Hybrid working
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
