Our client a leading professional medical body based in Central London are looking for an experienced HR professional to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. In this role you will be leading all HR operations and manage the day to day management of HR and people related functions whilst spearheading strategic HR initiatives to support the organisation objectives. Collaborating closely with managers and cross functional departments you will play a key role in fostering a cohesive working enviroment and implementing the best HR practices.
Duties within the role will include:
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle through collaborating with senior team members to recruit new staff, developing robust hiring methods, onboarding and development plans.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and implement HR policies to support organisational goals, through development of new policies to ensure compliance with current employment laws
- Ensuring organisation values are implemented for the cultivation of positive work enviroment.
- Overseeing all HR functions and carrying out new automated HR system for company records
- Tracking employee statistics for review and reporting to senior managers to support individual staff job objectives and capabilities
- Ensuring monthly payroll letter is issued accurately through collaboration with managers and the financial department and liaising with relevant advisors on yearly salary increases for staff
- Ensure compliance with all data protection, copyright, and accessibility laws and keeping up to date with any employment law changes.
The successful candidate will have:
- Professional qualification in HR Management, CIPD level 7 or MCS in HR management
- Experience handling end to end management of employee relations across a range of topics such as sickness absence, capability, grievance and disciplinary
- Skilled in generating employee data. Writing reports and data analysis
- Knowledge of handling payroll functions and working with financial departments
- Managing policy development and tracking employment law changes, and implementing relevant changes related to company policies and processes
- Experience working in a standalone role and multitasking accordingly
- Excellent attention to detail, working in a confidential manner and working proactively using own initiative
