Head of Permanent Recruitment – Medical Device & Life Sciences (Hybrid)

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Senior Recruiter to take the lead in driving their permanent recruitment division within the medical device and life sciences sector. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants to be the face of the company, build strong industry relationships, and develop a high-performing team.

This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working 2 days from home and 3 days in the office, providing the perfect balance of remote and in-person collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the permanent recruitment function, building and executing a long-term hiring strategy across regulatory affairs, quality assurance, clinical research, and related fields.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, developing strong industry connections and positioning the company as a leader in life sciences recruitment.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to offer negotiation and placement.
  • Develop and mentor a growing team of recruiters, sharing industry knowledge and best practices to ensure high performance.
  • Work closely with the CEO to align recruitment strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Proactively engage with clients, understanding their hiring needs and delivering high-quality, long-term talent solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and drive business development initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in permanent recruitment within medical devices, life sciences, or related sectors.
  • Strong expertise in full-cycle recruitment, with a proven track record of placing senior-level candidates.
  • A passion for business development and networking, with the ability to represent the company at industry events and build lasting relationships.
  • Leadership skills and experience in mentoring or managing other recruiters.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to drive new business opportunities.
  • Additional language skills (such as French, German, Danish, or Swedish) are a plus but not essential.
