Head of Recruitment:

  • Develop and lead the charity's recruitment strategy to attract top talent while championing diversity and inclusion.
  • Manage and oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning to onboarding.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on talent acquisition, market trends, and resourcing challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships with hiring managers, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Build and nurture robust talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and partnerships.
  • Analyse recruitment data to identify trends, measure success, and optimise processes.
  • Promote our employer brand and position the charity as an employer of choice in the sector.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and charity regulations, embedding best practices across the recruitment function.

Profile

Head of Recruitment essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior recruitment role within the charity or non-profit sector.
  • Expertise in sourcing, hiring, and onboarding talent across a range of disciplines.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience embedding these principles in recruitment practices.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solution-focused with excellent organisational skills.
