You will be working for a well-known Public Service Organisation in London. You may also be required to work in various London based locations subject to business needs.

Description

The HR Change Manager will responsible for managing and delivering key aspects of major transformation projects - building new organisational units, transforming existing units, whilst managing re-deployment efficiently and with empathy. You will manage multi-person, multi- disciplinary change teams - sized to meet the demands of the project - including resources from within the Change team, and wider HR.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage the delivery and implementation of change strategies. Supporting business leaders to interpret policy, and providing them with timely and definitive guidance.
  • Manage people-based change projects, re-structures and re-organisations to agreed performance targets. Delivering business objectives, maintaining legal compliance, managing industrial relations and managing risk appropriately. Focusing on the end-to-end process and ensuring displacement, and where required redundancy, is managed effectively and in line legislation.
  • Manage the policy, processes and products used to deliver people-based change. Ensuring they are suitable for purpose, well-maintained, and effectively support both the business and individuals.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects within the HR function - ensuring HR operations are effective, efficient and focused on the needs of the front-line use

Profile

The successful HR Change Manager will possess the following:

  • Proven track record of delivering restructures, redundancies, and redeployment.
  • Familiarity with civilisation processes
  • Strong understanding of employment law and relevant legislation.
  • CIPD qualification is preferred but not mandatory if they have significant practical experience.
  • Ability to handle complex cases, especially those involving heavy union consultation.
  • Experience in managing large-scale people changes and programs.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to take on tasks outside of the job description if needed.
  • Confidence in speaking in front of senior stakeholders and unions.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to integrate well with the team and work collaboratively.
  • Capable of handling a stressful environment and working under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft suite.

Job Offer

This is an interim role for six months initially with potential for extension

  • £450 - £500 Umbrella/day depending on experience
  • Various London based locations subject to business needs.
  • 3 to 4 days in the office. May be required to do more as project is at critical stages.
