As Director of HR, you'll have an exciting opportunity to bring your HR expertise to support a US business expanding in the UK business and deliver against their HR agenda through influential stakeholder management and professional business partnering.

Client Details

A global private equity backed business in the Technology Sector with a headcount of 500 recently expanding across the UK. Currently sitting at 120 employees across the UK, and reporting to the CPO based in the US, the role requires someone to manage people through change, influencing and engaging key stakeholders and building strong working relationships across the business.

Description

  • Work in partnership with and support the local UK leadership in ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged to drive and lead the delivery of the people agenda across the business.
  • Have a strong presence across the region, meeting regularly with local leadership to support proactive management of their people to develop and influence ownership and accountability for the performance of their team.
  • Support and drive the cultural and behavioural expectations within the region.
  • Manage a regional HR team inclusive of general HR support and recruitment.
  • Facilitate regional hiring and on-boarding in partnership with Recruiting team and local leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with the US HR Team to deliver against the global HR agenda.
  • Identify any trends within our people metrics & survey data and develop/deliver an agreed action plan of programmes and initiatives where there are areas of improvement.
  • Partner with third party vendor and internal Finance team on Payroll and Benefits matters.
  • Partner with US HR team and local UK leadership to drive employee engagement within the region.
  • Develop workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and efficiency/productivity measures as needed and required.
  • Support organisational design within the region, ensuring roles and structures are fit for purpose and are aligned with the future business growth strategy.
  • Support and challenge managers on aspects of resource planning, including skill and headcount planning.

Profile

A successful HR Director should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 7-10+ years of HR experience within a fast paced environment.
  • CIPD Level 7 preferred.
  • Start-up or scale up experience would be preferred.
  • Experience with TUPE and M&A is essential.
  • Travel to central London 2-3 days a week + additional travel to Kent is required
