Position Overview:

They are seeking a strategic and visionary HR Director to lead our Human Resources department. In this pivotal role, you will drive HR initiatives that align with their business goals, enhance employee engagement, and cultivate a culture of excellence. You will report directly to the CEO and be an integral part of the executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's objectives and enhance organisational effectiveness.
  • Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, development, and retention programmes to build a high-performing workforce.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing programmes that promote employee satisfaction, inclusion, and well-being.
  • Performance Management: Lead the performance appraisal process to ensure clear expectations and continuous feedback.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, and manage employee relations issues effectively.
  • Organisational Development: Identify skills gaps and develop training programmes to enhance employee capabilities and support career growth.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Utilise HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programmes and inform decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD L5 (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organisational success.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and navigate complex organisational dynamics.
