Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an HR Director to join our client based in London. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days a week required onsite.

The ideal HR Director will be able to effectively translate the organisation's operations into people-centred strategies. The appointed HR Director will provide leadership and mentoring for the HR team, and will be responsible for delivering high-quality, timely and customer-focused HR services to all staff ensuring the organisation attracts, retains, rewards and develops talent to create an environment that's thrives.

The duties of the HR Director will include

  • Leading the organisation's HR service, ensuring the efficient delivery or payroll, pensions, HR admin, employee relations, occupational health, HR systems, learning and development and staff benefits
  • Contributing to the corporate, commercial and people strategy to enhance the organisation's retention efforts
  • Translating the organisation's strategic aims for their people into actionable work streams, drive continuous improvement through collaboration and performance monitoring
  • Advocating for inclusive cultural change, and build senior leadership capability in people management
  • Empowering the organisation's managers in people-related matters and ensuring high standards of HR Service
  • Maintaining a clear programme of HR policies, ensuring these are aligned with legislation and best practice, whilst embedding inclusive practices across the organisation
  • Overseeing equality, diversity and wellbeing objectives in HR services and policies
  • Responsibility for HR delivery
  • Responsible for the payroll budget and headcount of the organisation
  • Line management of 2 HR leads
  • Providing advice and guidance on complex employee relation and co-ordinating the employer response to Employment Tribunal claims

The HR Director will ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working at a similar level is essential
  • Experience in implementing strategic change to people management and the organisation
  • Experience in monitoring performance through financial and KPI reporting
