HR Manager - Education - 12-Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

Location: North London

Start Date: June 2025

Contract: Full-time, 40 hours/week, all-year-round

Salary: £51,000 - £56,000

Are you a skilled HR Manager who has worked within the education sector? Resourcing4HR are delighted to be supporting our client in recruiting an HR Manager to cover maternity on a 12 month FTC basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated HR Manager to join a small, friendly, and dynamic team. Reporting into the Chief Operating Office, the role will take the lead on employee relations and deliver high-quality HR services across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievances, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies in line with employment law and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and attend key committee meetings.
  • Manage payroll changes, pay awards, and pension queries in collaboration with Finance.
  • Oversee staff training, professional development, and appraisals.
  • Provide HR support to enterprise functions and international teams.
  • Support recruitment during peak periods.

Key Background:

  • Experience: HR generalist management within an educational environment.
  • Knowledge: Employment law, HR policies and education HR practices.
  • Skills: Strong organisation, interpersonal skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Qualifications: CIPD Level 5+.
  • Personal Qualities: Approachable, discreet, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
