A well-known charity, based in London are looking for a permanent HR Manager to support all aspects of HR that need to be undertaken for the organisation. The role offers hybrid working.

Description

A HR Manager to:

  • Provide high quality support to the Head of HR on all aspects of the function and on the provision of accurate, timely and relevant updates and reports as required by the Executive Team.
  • Ensure effective up-to-date HR policies and relevant other policies that meet the needs of the organisation, reviewing and updating as required. Identify any gaps in the HR policies and develop new policies.
  • Review recruitment and retention strategies and overseeing recruitment to vacancies and/or new posts and managing agency contracts as needed.
  • Manage the full employee life cycle and making any improvements required.
  • Provide strong advice to the wider business, including employment legislation, compliance, contracts, and act as the escalation point when required.
  • Make recommendations and changes where required.
  • Coach and advise line managers on HR best practice.
  • Develop an learning and development policy for all employees to promote continuous learning.
  • Line management, coach and develop a small HR Team.

Profile

A HR Manager with:

  • Substantial experience of working in HR and developing and reviewing appropriate HR policies and procedures
  • Previous experience within a charity or not-for-profit essential
  • Previous line management experience necessary
  • CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5) or qualified by experience.
  • Strong knowledge of current employment law

Job Offer
