HR Manager - Part-Time - 20 hours pwk

Central London, EC4 - Hybrid: 2 days office-based, 3 days WFH 

£40,000 pa pro rata 

Our global client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time HR Manager to join their UK team based in Central London. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional seeking part-time, flexible hours while contributing to various HR operations.   This role will require the UK HR Manager to take responsibility for recruitment, employee coordination, engagement initiatives, and HR compliance. The HR Manager will play a key role in supporting the Group's people strategy.   This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working two days in the office and three days from home.

Requirements:

  • Part-Time 20 hours per week across five days; two days office-based EC4 & 3 days wfh 
  • Demonstrate 3-4 years of HR experience.
  • CIPD qualified with up-to-date knowledge of HR practices, UK employment law, and recruitment processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of the UK HR function and independently report to remote Global Head of People & Culture. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and employment law.
  • Lead and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires and manage employee records, contracts, and documentation.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture. Gather and analyse feedback to recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Group Head of People and Culture and internal stakeholders on HR projects such as training and development, performance management, and policy updates.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
