HR Manager London (Earls Court)£60,000-£70,000Office basedOur expanding client in the healthcare sector is looking to recruit an experienced HR professional for an office based role based in the Earls Court area London. The purpose of the role is to play a critical part in ensuring a positive, collaborative and fulfilling staff culture. The role will manage a direct reports and report into the chief Clinical Officer.HR Manager Responsibilities
- Overall control of the HR discipline within the organisation.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Provide reports on all areas of HR, Payroll and Learning and Development, including the application of Employment Law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
- Promoting change initiatives within the organisation and securing board-level buy-in.
- Ensuring HR policies, procedures, and guidelines are up to date.
- Developing and overseeing training and development strategies and programmes.
- Implementing and managing internal employee related communications and staff surveys.
- Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
- Manage upscaling including TUPE transfers and ensure the integration of new employees into the existing organisation
- Able to manage employees on different contracts e.g. PAYE and self employed contractors and understand the legal implications around this.
- Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
- Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organisational culture, ensuring that the company values and approach are displayed.
- Execute a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.
- Regularly coach, mentor, and support senior and high potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention.
Person Specification
- At least 6 years previous HR generalist experience
- Previous experience in a senior HR
- Must have and be able to demonstrate scale up experience
- Experience as a leader and role model.
- Proven ability to empower and develop others.
- Excellent knowledge of employment law and how to apply legislation.
- Proven problem solving and strategic skills at a senior level.
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Thrives under pressure and relishes change.
- Experience of working in healthcare/wellbeing would be an advantage but not essential
The main base for the role is Earls Court and you will be expected to travel around different sites which are based around London.You must have previous experience of managing employees on different contracts to be considered for the role e.g. PAYE and self employed contractors and understand the legal implications around this.It is 40 hours per week.
