Goodman Masson are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading global fintech company who are seeking an experienced and talented HR Manager to support its rapid growth and drive people strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The company provides cutting-edge data and analytics solutions to empower investment decisions across long-only and complex liquid alternatives.

Reporting to the CFO and the UK Company Director, this role will be the first in the HR department as they seek to build and develop the HR function in line with the company's rapid growth. This role therefore offers the opportunity to shape and build HR processes, attract top talent, and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing culture within a pioneering fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to support business growth
  • Develop initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster a strong organisational culture
  • Manage HR systems to optimise efficiency and improve employee experiences
  • Implement performance management frameworks and development programs
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and best practices
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and salary benchmarking to maintain competitive offerings
  • Create and enforce HR policies aligned with business needs

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience as an HR professional within the fintech industry or a high-growth startup
  • Strong understanding of UK employment regulations and best HR practices
  • Tech-savvy with experience using HR systems and data analytics
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and strong stakeholder management skills

Benefits:

  • £50,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • 28 days holiday
  • Hybrid working (4 days in the Liverpool Street Office, 1 day from home)
