City & Capital are currently working with a rapidly expanding financial services company who have retained our services in order to appoint an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to their growing team at an exciting time.

Ou client is experiencing exceptional growth, doubling the size of their UK operation for the 6th consecutive year. With cotinued plans for significant FTE expansion over the coming period, the company requires a strong HR leader to support their objectives.

The role of HR Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across the organisation. This will include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will closely with the Head of HR to design and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s growth plans and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a full range of HR functions within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. They will be proactive, highly organised, and able to work efficiently under pressure.

Duties include (but may not be limited to):

General HR Management

  • Provide general HR support across the business, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Handle employee relations matters, offering advice and support on disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Support internal recruitment efforts, working closely with the Talent Acquisition function to support that candidate assessment & decisioning process
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new employees and maintain consistent communication with hiring managers.

Performance Management & Employee Development

  • Support the performance management process, ensuring timely appraisals, feedback, and development plans for employees.
  • Identify training needs and implement development programmes that align with both employee growth and business goals.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Assist in developing and promoting initiatives to drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and job satisfaction.
  • Contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive company culture that supports collaboration and high performance.
  • Assist the Learning and Development function with key goals and objectives.

HR Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure HR activities comply with relevant UK employment legislation and company policies.
  • Provide guidance on legal matters and handle any employee grievances or disciplinary actions.

HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Support in producing HR reports and data-driven insights for senior management, tracking key metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.

The ideal individual will:

  • Possess a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a relevant field, with a Level 3, 5 or 7 CIPD qualification.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in an HR management role, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Be proactive, adaptable, and quick to address challenges or opportunities.
  • Have a proven track record of successfully managing HR processes, from recruitment to performance management.
  • Be a natural leader, able to collaborate and work with senior management to drive HR strategy.

On Offer

The basic salary for this role is between c£50k - £65k relevant to experience. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional talent and experience. Salary will be complemented by an annual discretionary bonus that will boost income.
