Your new companyA leading accountancy firm are looking for an HR Manager, with strong people management experience to lead their team of 10. Acting as number 2 to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for managing the operational and support the development of the people strategy. Other responsibilities include:

  • Manage cyclical HR processes across your region (800 people),
  • Lead all aspects of the cyclical HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits and oversee payroll.
  • Work with the Head of HR to create and improve existing HR policies, whilst leading ad-hoc HR projects throughout the HR cycle.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on all HR issues, including leading complex ER cases including performance management.
  • Oversee responsibilities of team, L&D, Reward, Payroll etc.
  • Partner with the business to drive various initiatives, such as DE&I to enhance employee engagement and create a positive working culture for all employees.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a Senior HR Generalist role with proven line management responsibilities is essential (ideally a team of 5+).
  • Experience working within an Accountancy Practice is preferred, with wider professional services being beneficial.
  • Success operating at both the strategic and operational level.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior-level stakeholders and communicate across all levels of employee.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law with excellent attention to detail.
