HR Manager (12 Month FTC)Salary: £65,000-£70,000 plus excellent benefitsLocation: South -East LondonAbout the Company/Role:Join a leading, dynamic property investment company specialising in business centres across London.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager (CIPD Level 7) with a minimum of 5 years of HR management experience to work on a 12-month maternity contract. You will have the chance to fully utilise your HR expertise in a company that supports SMEs in diverse sectors.Objectives:
  • Provide full support to the Head of People, ensuring a professional HR service responsive to business needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, building professional relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensuring an inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and inspired to reach their full potential.
Main Responsibilities:Working with the Business:
  • Build and maintain internal relationships to understand HR needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, advising on employment and people management.
  • Attend meetings to shape and influence planning and development strategies.
  • Manage employee relations issues such as grievances, performance, disciplinary cases, and sickness management.
  • Advise and influence managers on best practices and pragmatic solutions.
  • Oversee flexible working requests.
  •  Implement HR initiatives aligned with business strategy.
  • Liaise with Employment Advisors as needed.
  • Ensure managers and employees are aware of HR policies.
  • Coach managers on performance management issues and processes.
  • Ensure effective use of probation and appraisal processes.
Working Across the HR Team:
  • Collaborate with HR team members, sharing information and ensuring joined-up processes.
  • Approve and sign contracts of employment and variations.
  • Liaise with the Payroll Manager for monthly payroll sign-off.
  • Support operational efficiency through business process reviews
  • Stay updated with HR trends, legislation, and initiatives.
  • Assist with annual reviews of benefit provisions to remain competitive.
Projects:
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of HR procedures and policies.
  • Undertake project work, as necessary.
  • Assist with Gender Pay Ratio and CEO Pay Ratio reporting calculations.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of the annual employee survey.
ESG:
  • Promote HR initiatives aligned with the company's strategy and corporate objectives.
  • Support the delivery of the company's social sustainability strategy.
  • Manage and promote wellbeing initiatives.
  • Assist with the delivery of the external DE&I speaker programme.
  • Contribute to the HR team's ESG goals and objectives.
