Reed Human Resources London are recruiting a HR Manager on a permanent basis

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of an efficient HR service including:

• Providing generalist HR advice, guidance and support to all staff and advising on HR policies and procedures such as recruitment & selection, employee benefits, performance management, employee relations, training and development, wellbeing, absence management etc.

 • All HR related policies and procedures relevant to the employee lifecycle, including the Safer Recruitment Policy.

• Management of the recruitment cycle for all staff to induction.

Reporting to the Director of HR, this role will be responsible for leading on all development and wellbeing initiatives for support staff.

1. Manage the support staff appraisal process, providing guidance on training and development needs as required.

2. Manage the HR responsibility for inductions of new staff including the Welcome Day for new starters and Inset days.

3. Have an oversight of support staff training records on the HR /Payroll system, iTrent.

 4. Provide advice and guidance on apprenticeships and support line managers as required to manage support staff apprenticeships.

5. Review the provision of employee benefits and provide support in administering schemes as required, including conducting support staff salary surveys for benchmarking.

 6. Working alongside the relevant staff and the support staff Joint Consultative Forum reps, contribute to the whole wellbeing policy and initiatives focussing on support staff and being a contact point for them.

 7. Lead on the management of employee surveys for support staff.

8. Provide generalist HR support on HR operational activity as required.

 9. Take on HR projects as directed by the Director of HR.

10. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Director of HR.

11. Deputise for the Director of HR, on development and wellbeing matters, as required.

12. To reflect and consider the organisations’ vision and values when delivering the HR service to the community.
