- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies in line with employment law and best practices.
- Advise on and manage employee relations cases, including restructuring, disciplinary issues, grievances, sickness absence, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and employment law requirements.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to manage payroll changes, pay awards, and pension queries.
- Provide information to staff on benefits, Cycle to Work, and salary sacrifice schemes.
- Oversee staff training and professional development.
- Manage probation, appraisals, and the school’s online training platform.
- Attend staff committees, including Health & Safety and line manager meetings.
- Provide HR support to the school’s enterprise functions and international teams.
- Support the HR & Recruitment Manager during busy recruitment periods.
- Educated to at least ‘O’ Level standard or equivalent with GCSE/O Level English & Maths grade C or above.
- CIPD Level 5 or above (desirable).
- Experience in HR within a school environment.
- Proven experience in HR management and employee relations case work.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, policy, and procedure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
