Description

Reporting to the Head of People, the HR Policy Co-Ordinator will be responsible for:

  • leading the development and maintenance of people policies and procedures across the organisation
  • working with the Head of People to ensure that the people policy framework reflects the needs of the organisation and its workforce
  • maintaining the scheduled review of people policies and procedures to ensure they remain fit for purpose and reflect the latest developments in effective people management
  • taking an evidence-based approach to people policy development which combines behavioural science and academic research, organisational data, stakeholder concerns and practitioner expertise
  • working with Learning and Development, ensure that training and development is in place to support the implementation of policies.

Profile

The successful HR Policy Co-Ordinator will be studying towards, or qualified, in CIPD, and a strong track record in creating and implementing people policies aligned with legislation, case law, and business needs.

Ideally you will have worked in a similar role within a public sector organisation and had some exposure to dealing with Trade Unions.

Job Offer

A salary range of £43,000 - £45,000 plus an attractive benefits package.
