Responsibilities:

Our client, a leading organisation in the HR industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. Located in Mayfair, City of Westminster, our client's office is conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk away from Piccadilly Circus train station.

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. You will play a crucial role in building strong partnerships across the HR function, delivering value-added services that reflect the organisation's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programmes, and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counselling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
  • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and executive coaching needs.
  • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programmes, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Thorough understanding of hierarchy, job qualifications, compensation practises, and administrative practises.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
  • Familiarity with compensation practises, organisational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
