My client the hunt for a highly skilled Payroll Manager to lead our end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 5,000 employees. What You'll Do

As our ideal candidate, you'll take ownership of managing our payroll function, ensuring every employee is paid correctly and on time. You'll collaborate with Operations, HR, and Finance teams to drive continuous improvements in payroll systems and processes. Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing for 5,000 employees
  • Minimising errors and ensuring accurate, timely payroll
  • Maintaining system configurations as a superuser of our HR system
  • Handling employee queries and resolving issues with confidence
  • Contributing to year-end returns, P60s, and audit requests
  • Managing maternity/paternity schedules, pension schemes, and payroll journals


What You'll Bring

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • High volume end to end multi-sited payroll experience
  • In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality
