Are you an experienced payroll professional? We're seeking a meticulous Part-Time Payroll Manager to join our dynamic entertainment team. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in ensuring our staff are paid accurately and on time, all while navigating the complexities of the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process variable payrolls, including fluctuating hours, overtime, and different pay structures across a diverse workforce.
  • Ensure full compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax codes, pensions, and other legal requirements.
  • Oversee PAYE, National Insurance, and other statutory deductions, ensuring accurate submissions to HMRC.
  • Work closely with department heads to gather and verify payroll data
  • Process holiday pay, sick pay, and maternity/paternity leave with a focus on individual entitlements.
  • Provide support in audits and respond to any payroll-related queries from staff
  • Act as the point of contact for providers

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing variable payrolls in an environment with fluctuating pay structures.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including tax, pensions, and benefits.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems; experience with Sage or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving and communication.
